  Amazon’s Mountain Fire Still Burning

     Many parts of the world are suffering from large forest fires. From the western part of the United States to the Amazon in South America, Australia, Indonesia, and even Siberia have suffered. The “Zombie fire,” which has survived for months even if only a small embers remain on the dried-up mountain. It is a huge forest fire that is not easily caught.

     Forest fires have been continuing for a year in the Amazon region, called the “Earth Huff,” especially this month, they are growing uncontrollably. The Amazon rainforest fires, which began in August last year, have been going on for a year. There have been 26000 fires this month, 34% more than last year, with 4000 observed per day alone. Despite the situation, President Bolsonaro of Brazil has denied the Amazon forest fire. He has been under intense criticism from environmental groups for claiming that “the wrong information” was to blame for the fires by the native people in connection with the continuing forest fires in the Amazon rainforest and the Fantanau tropical wetlands. Residents are suffering from economic crises and health problems, and the home of endangered species such as jaguars.
