이제는 북한인권에 대해서 깊게 고민해야 한다.
It is time to consider human rights in North Korea seriously.
Nowadays, it seems North Korea is opening their closed door to public. The North Korea’s leader Jungeun Kim is significantly increasing huge diplomacy summits with related countries such as South Korea, U.S., and China. Fortunately, those summits have made good results like: no more nuclear or missile experiments or launches, repatriate American war dead remains, and railroads between S. Korea and N. Korea.
현재 북한은 굳게 닫혀있던 문을 점차 열어가는 중이다. 북한의 지도자 김정은은 현재 눈에 띄게 외교적 회담을 늘려가고 있는 중이고 거기에는 미사일 시험 중지, 핵 시설 폐기, 참전 미군 유해 송환 등 여러 가지 좋은 결과들이 나오고 있는 중이다.
However, those things don’t help the N. Koreans. N. Koreans are always watched and checked by each other because lack of loyalty to the Kim family is the biggest criminal in North Korea. Moreover, there are no human rights in North Korea. The country chooses citizens job, home, income, and future, and if anyone tries to escape appointed place, they jailed into a political prisoner camp.
하지만 저러한 결과들은 북한 주민들에게 어떠한 도움도 주지 않는다. 북한에 사는 모든 주민들은 서로가 서로에 의해 감시당한다. 왜냐하면 김 씨 가문에 대한 충성심의 부제나 명령 불복종은 북한에서 아주 심각한 죄이기 때문이다. 그리고 북한에서 인권이란 것은 기대해 보기 힘들다. 국가가 직장을 정해주고, 급여를 정해주고, 살 곳을 정해주는 등 여러 가지 개인의 자유가 침해당하고 있기 때문이다. 그리고 국가가 지정해준 자리를 벗어나려 하는 모든 이는 정치범 수용소로 보내진다.
North Korea’s political prisoner camps are not legal prisons. There is no rule that gives authority to political prisoner camps. Therefore, North Korea can put people into the camps without a trial. Judicial branch of North Korea does not make any decision, but the military branch does. It means, the political prisoner camps are under control of the military of the North Korea. Additionally, North Korea’s military captures criminals families and put them into the camp too because there is a rule that called involvement system that allows military to capture everyone around the criminal or suspect.
북한의 정치범 수용소는 합법적인 수용소가 아니다. 어떠한 법률도 수용소에 대한 권리를 주어 주지 않고 있다. 그로 인해 국가는 자유롭게 사람들을 재판 없이 수용소에 보낼 수 있다. 북한의 사법부는 수용소에 관해서 어떠한 관여를 할 수 없으며 군부가 이를 통제한다. 군에 의해 통제되는 이 시설은 사법부의 영향력 없이 자유로이 자기 결정에 의해 사람들을 수용소에 보낼 수 있으며 여기에는 연좌제라는 규칙이 더해져 죄를 범한 당사자뿐만 아니라 당사자 주위에 모든 이들을 잡아다 넣을 수 있다.
In the camp jailed people works everyday every night illegally with insufficient nutrition, horrible environment, no medical support, and human rights. Supervisors of a camp treat people as animals and nobody knows who are dying there. The human rights in North Korea are still ignored by its government. Diplomacy summits are good, no-missile or nuclear good, but we must think about people who are living in North Korea. Even fundamental rights are not guaranteed in there. We must take care of them and make improvement.
수용소에 보내진 사람들은 밤낮으로 쉬지 않고 일하며 거기에는 영양 보충, 의학 시설, 인권 등은 기대도 할 수 없다. 그리고 수용소에 감시인들은 사람을 사람처럼 대하지 않고 동물처럼 다룬다 또한 엄격하게 외부와 단절되고 통제되어서 아무도 거기서 누가 어떠한 변을 당했는지 알 수 없다. 북한에서의 인권은 정부에 의해 무시당하고 차단당하고 있다. 외교적 접촉 좋다, 미사일 쏘지 않는 것 좋다, 하지만 우리는 반드시 북한의 인권 유린에 대해서 고민해봐야 한다. 아주 기본적인 표현의 자유 같은 것조차 보장되지 않는 나라이다. 우리는 반드시 이에 대하여 심각히 고민하고 앞으로 좋은 발전과 결과들을 만들어 가야 한다.
